A small shallow cove is located on the east end of Sooke Basin and is the focal point of the 143 hectare Roche Cove Park. A sign in the lake reminds visitors this is the T'Sou-ke's.

I realized later that my average cycling speed, 42 km/2hr:15 min was nearly the same as the man who won the Victoria Marathon that day. The pace here is the pace they run for over 2 hours. Incredible.
